About SpecDock
Why this app exists, and who builds it.
I build software with coding agents every day. They write the specs, the implementation plans, and the design notes, and they write faster than I can read at a desk. The code kept moving. My review of it did not.
SpecDock closes that gap. It is a place to read what the agent wrote, decide what needs to change, and hand those decisions back in a form the agent can act on.
The name
The bridge between your coding agent and you.
The name is literal. On one side is your Mac, where the agent works. On the other is your iPhone, where you have time to read. SpecDock carries the review across: you mark the passages that need action, and your decisions land back in the project as files the agent reads on its next run.
One developer
SpecDock is designed, built, and supported by one person. When you write to support, the reply comes from the developer who wrote the code.
That size keeps the product deliberately simple. Your documents stay between your Mac and your iPhone — SpecDock doesn't host your files. The iPhone app pairs with a free CLI companion on your own Mac, and the review files it writes are plain Markdown you can read without SpecDock.
